[ Ah, the children. He's see them about, helped a few - but what struck him the most was how the life seemed to be drained out of them. ]

We can use the house I was given. I really only need two rooms, and I've been working on soundproofing it already.

It's also called an 'emoticon', is it? 6O taught me. It helps in getting my words across, definitely.

I'm not sure if I can help them learn how to play, though. I don't really know it myself.

I suppose it is! I just know them as smileys from where I am but that's a cute name for it. I think I'll try it out in the future.

That's fine too. Is there something you'd like to help with in particular? I'm open to anything right now since this would be my first attempt to do such a thing, really. [ needing to organise and corral her shipmates in getting their yearly boosters doesn't count, in her opinion. for one thing she looks forward to doing this. ]

I have to confess, I'm not so good at interacting with children.

[ They're very vibrant in his Echo-lent vision, flitting from one fancy to another at a speed that often outpaced his perception. ]

I'm better at building. I can try to make what you might need.

I understand. The fact you're offering to help with this means so much to me. And means a lot to the kids in the future too, no doubt about it!

I think we are in need of some things for the rooms. So they're more appropriate and safer for the children when they come to visit.

Just let me know what sort of stuff you need and I should be able to make it.

I'm still soundproofing the outer rooms, but they would be done by next month if all goes well.

I'll list the things that could be needed for the center and hand them over to you within the week.

Actually- There is another thought that's come to mind. If you're open to the idea, maybe I can move in? To help you out with soundproofing and keep the place clean. In return of letting me use the rooms for this project.

If you're open to the idea of course! If not than I understand. I do. I'm also sorry in advance for coming off as presumptuous.
